Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc.

This US subsidiary of one of the largest electronics corporations in the world (according to Forbes) was looking to implement a travel security program that covered its geographic responsibilities from the Arctic Circle to Tierra del Fuego. Additionally since their customers require face-to-face contact at their facilities anywhere in the world the program needed to have global reach. Considering risk management, TAEC contracted with Direct Measures International to develop a travel security program that met their specifications.

During and post-development of the crisis management plan, the scope was extended to manage "all-hazard" potential scenarios. The resulting CORE Matrix, was configured for TAEC and accounted for the client's organizations, operating procedures, and legal obligations, and was incorporated into the crisis management fabric of the company.

During the 2007 California wildfires, the CORE Matrix proved its worth enabling rapid information gathering and orienting, and seamless transition to actionable decision making.

Today, TAEC continues to be fully engaged with Outcome Logic to maintain its risk and crisis management readiness and capabilities.
